FREE Motown Impersonation Show, Compete in a Lip Sync Contest, Play Laser Tag, On Game Trucks & Corn Bag Tossing.
The event objective is to annually present scholarships to local Maricopa Youth & Young Adults.
2019 Scholarship Award Recipients
1. The City of Maricopa Youth Scholarship Program: http://www.maricopa-az.gov/web/sports-recreation/1242-scholarships-available, Awarded to Mayor Christian Price & City Council Members (Sponsored by Amazon).
2. The Streets Don’t Love You Back Program - http://www.thestreetsdontloveyouback.com.
Awarded to Rob & Lucinda Boyd (Sponsored by Apex Motor Club) via Brittany Stotler, Director of Club Operations .
3. NAACP Pinal Youth Division Awarded to Constance Hunsberger Jackson, President of Pinal County NAACP. (Sponsored by Tempe-Honda via Michelle Petrenko, General Manager).
4. Zonta international, Maricopa Chapter, Youth Scholarship Program. Awarded to Debbie Angwood, Zonta Area 5 Director (Sponsored by Amazon).
In celebration of Maricopa Youth Initiatives The Zonta Club of Maricopa will be having a 100 Women Walk to raise money for this events youth scholarships.
Zonta's mission is to empower women through service and advocacy. Their slogan is “We say No to abuse against women, bullying and childhood marriage”. https://www.facebook.com/ZontaMaricopa/.
